PAL LACROSSE ACADEMIES

The PAL (Police Athletic League) Lacrosse Academies are now in their second year and things are looking good for lacrosse at the grassroots level in town. We still have 3 locations going and all kids are having a great time. Below are a few photos from April 2009 during the first scrimmage between sites. The Monument team is in orange and the westside team in in white.

The PAL (Police Athletic League) Lacrosse Academies recently completed the first session in the end of May. This is an exciting time for lacrosse for local youths. These academies introduced the sport of lacrosse to a few dozen players in different parts of town. The culminating event was a scrimmage held at Mallison Park on May 22 with players from all 3 locations. Lighthouse Lacrosse would like to thank all volunteer coaches and the staff at the Police Athletic League for their asistance in making this happen. The players were also great. We look forward to seeing many of these young men playing at higher levels in the coming years.
