Jacksonville Lacrosse Club Fall Playing Opportunities

Registration is now OPEN for Jacksonville Lacrosse Club's High School and Youth "Pre-Season in Paradise" Fall Ball programs!!

Please note that all High School athletes will register under their school appropriate JLC Fall Ball Team name (see below). If you do not see a JLC fall ball team name for your high school, please register as an "Independent".

All Youth athletes will register under the age appropriate Pre-Season in Paradise Division.

JLC's Pre-Season in Paradise does not interfere with our Youth or High School Elite Travel Programs, in fact both programs were created to compliment each other. Final JLC Fall Elite Travel information will be released this week, this includes cost, play day dates, travel schedule, and all other pertinent information.

2010 JLC High School Fall Academy Programs:

High School "Pre-Season in Paradise"

Cost: $225

Dates: October 4th, 2010 - December 1, 2010

Preseason in Paradise is a High School Fall Ball Program. Athletes will register under their school appropriate JLC Fall Ball Team:

JLC Bears (athletes who attend Bartram Trail)

JLC Bulldogs (athletes who attend Bolles)

JLC Knights (athletes who attend Creekside)

JLC Roadside Armidillos (athletes who attend Episcopal)

JLC Independents (Duval and St. Johns Mix of independents)

JLC Panthers (athletes who attend Nease)

Format: 8 Sessions (5 Sessions of Box & 3 Sessions of 7 v 7 Field)

30 minutes of specific team instruction followed by 48 minutes of box or 7 v 7 competition (90 Minutes per session)
Instruction sessions progress fundamentally from week 1 to week 8.
Sessions will be held one time per week per team. Sessions will be held during the evenings between 6:00 pm & 9:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings.

Sessions 1-5: G.O.A.L.S. Indoor Box Lacrosse Facility (Ponte Vedra)
Sessions 6-8: Plantation Park Turf Field (Julington Creek)

Registration will open August 30th, 2010. Registration will close September 6, 2010. Registration is open to all current High School athletes in the Jacksonville area. Final Schedules and Team Rosters will be released no later than September 20th, 2010.

JLC High School Fall Elite Travel

Teams: HS A & HS B

Fall Play Day: Late September... TBD

Dates: Mid October through November

Format: 2 - 3 Tournaments. 1 - 2 practices prior to each Tournament.

Travel: Florida, South Carolina, Maryland

Note: This program is completely separate from Pre-Season in Paradise and does not interfere. Final Fall Elite Travel information will be released during the first week of September.

2010 Youth Fall Academy Programs:

Youth "Pre-Season in Paradise"

Cost: $175

Dates: November 1st, 2010 - December 15th, 2010
