***URGENT*** Lacrosse in Duval County Public Schools is one of the sports that will not be funded for the 2012 season. In an effort to continue forward progress with the growth of the sport at the local level, Lighthouse Lacrosse will be the non-profit organization designated with collecting funds to enable the DCPS teams to continue playing. Please consider contributing to this cause. Remember, all donations through Lighthouse Lacrosse are tax deductible.

Support High School Lacrosse in Duval County for the Upcoming 2012 Season
In the United States...... Lacrosse is the fastest sport on two feet! Lacrosse is the oldest North American sport! Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport! Lacrosse has one of the highest graduation rates!				*In Duval County......* There are 14 boys high school teams (8 DCPS and 4 private) There are 9 girls high school teams (8 DCPS and 1 private) Lighthouse hosts and annual middle and high school tourn. Lighthouse has provided start-up equipment for local teams.

Lighthouse Lacrosse is a non-profit organization created to broaden the exposure of lacrosse in the Jacksonville market and to utilize the game as a tool to encourage positive life choices and academic achievement in youth of all economic, ethnic, religious and racial backgrounds.
