TO ALL JACKSONVILLE AREA COACHES,
We, at Lighthouse Lacrosse Foundation, are thrilled about the upcoming spring lacrosse season. Attached are the two necessary forms for registration for our CLUB teams, open to boys in high school. This year, we also have a team open to older students at FSCJ and/or dual enrolled students! We hope to work that team into our VARSITY playing schedule. Please have forms available to distribute to your players asap, as we are able to offer a terrific discount cost of $40.00 per player IF they meet our Early Bird registration deadline of DECEMBER 31, 2009.
Contact information is on the registration form, as well as our tentative schedule. All club teams are encouraged to attend our OPENING DAY activity at Jacksonville University! The Dolphins are playing as a Division I team against the University of North Carolina Tarheels!!!
REGARDING DUVAL COUNTY JUNIOR VARSITY LACROSSE:
We WILL offer a separate registration deadline during the week of February 6th for any boys who may not make the spring varsity teams at their schools. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU MIGHT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPTION FOR YOUR BOYS. ALSO, LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE ABLE TO VOLUNTEER FOR LIGHTHOUSE AS A COACH OR REFEREE THIS SEASON. Because our Foundation is non-profit, we can offer these terrific prices. Unfortunately, this means our coaches are not paid. FORTUNATELY, this also means they are passionate about the sport of lacrosse and working with young people. Please feel free to pass this information on to any interested parties in Jax.
