Matt was a two time All State and three time all conference and all division selection at Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington, NJ. He received his undergraduate degree (AB-History) from Duke University where he had the privilege of playing for Coach Mike Pressler and was a member of first Duke lacrosse team to participate in the NCAA Division I Lacrosse Tournament. While at Duke, Matt was a four time Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll Selection. He later received law degree (with High Honors) from the University of Florida College of Law. Matt currently resides in Jacksonville with his wife, the former Julie Exum, and three children and is a partner with the international law firm of Foley & Lardner LLP where he specializes in commercial real estate transactions
